About Me

Hi, thanks for taking the time to check out my website! I'm Roland, a software developer passionate about solving problems and building products that help people. I'm currently working at CIBC while at the same time pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania.

You might have noticed that I come from a bit of a non-traditional background: I actually completed my undergrad in Finance & Economics at the University of Toronto, but I quickly found myself drawn towards the thrill of turning an idea or manual task into a streamlined solution. I'm naturally curious and unafraid to experiment with new technologies or tackle problems outside my comfort zone.

In my free time, you can catch me gymming, running, solving trivia puzzles from either the New York Times or LinkedIn, or grinding the latest souls-like released on Steam. I'm also always down for a game of ultimate frisbee, badminton, volleyball, or spikeball.
